International Conference on Social Science (ICSS) is a conference for those who interested to presenting papers in all fields of social science. Conference topics focus on several disciplines including Law, Education, Cultural and Communication Studies, History, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, and Library Sciences. This conference is a forum for discussion between various parties such as academics, policy makers and social practitioners. On the other hand, it is expected that the conference can show various kinds of cultural differences throughout the world. The additional purpose of this conference is to provide a place for academics and professionals with interdisciplinary / multi-disciplinary interests related to social sciences to meet and interact with members both within and outside their own disciplines. Selected papers that have been through the peer review process and received will be published in the ICSS 2019 Proceedings published by Atlantis Press.

He has been working as a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Monash University since 20 July 2015. Prior to this role, Nadir was an Associate Professor at the School of Law, University of Wollongong. He has a Bachelors degree (UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta), a Graduate Diploma in Islamic Studies, and Master of Arts with Honours (University of New England), as well as a Master of Laws in Comparative Law (Charles Darwin University). He completed his first PhD (Law) at the University of Wollongong and a second PhD (Islamic Law) at the National University of Singapore. Nadir is internationally known for his expertise on Shari'a and Indonesian law.
He will share his ideas, experiences and research results on sharia law in many regions of Indonesia.

Before being elected as governor, she served as the 27th Minister of Social Affairs of Republic of Indonesia. A few years before, She had served as the Minister for Female Empowerment. She was elected chairwoman of the Muslimat, an Islamic women's group affiliated to Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), for the 2000-2005 period, and reelected three times, most recently in 2016 for the 2016-2021 period.
She will open this annual conference and give opening speech on how to developing Human Resources, especially women who are competitive in today's disruptive world.
