International Conference on Social Science (ICSS) is a conference for those who interested to presenting papers in all fields of social science. Conference topics focus on several disciplines including Law, Education, Cultural and Communication Studies, History, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, and Library Sciences. This conference is a forum for discussion between various parties such as academics, policy makers and social practitioners. On the other hand, it is expected that the conference can show various kinds of cultural differences throughout the world. The additional purpose of this conference is to provide a place for academics and professionals with interdisciplinary / multi-disciplinary interests related to social sciences to meet and interact with members both within and outside their own disciplines. He has been working as a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Monash University since 20 July 2015. Prior to this role, Nadir was an Associate Professor at the School of Law, University of Wollongong. He has a Bachelors degree (UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta), a Graduate Diploma in Islamic Studies, and Master of Arts with Honours (University of New England), as well as a Master of Laws in Comparative Law (Charles Darwin University). He completed his first PhD (Law) at the University of Wollongong and a second PhD (Islamic Law) at the National University of Singapore. Nadir is internationally known for his expertise on Shari'a and Indonesian law.
He will share his ideas, experiences and research results on sharia law in many regions of Indonesia.

Professor of Labor Law, Industrial Relations and Industrial Safety Law at the Faculty of Law, National University of Malaysia.
He holds a Ph.D from International Islamic University Malaysia (2005), a Masters of Law from University College London (1987) and a Bachelor of Law from University of Malaya (1984). Currently he focuses on research related to Labor Law, Law on Health and Safety at Work, Human Trafficking, Migration.
He has studied the application of law in the field of industry. We will see how far the law speaks in this era of industrial revolution 4.0.

Dr. Makhfud Efendy is a senior lecturer in Department of Marine Science, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Trunojoyo Madura. He focuses on research related to salt and seaweed production technology. In 2005, he completed doctoral degree in Institute Pertanian Bogor (IPB) Indonesia. Dr. Makhfud has been recognized as an exceptional expert in his area. He has got a lot of achievements including Upakarti award by the president of Republic Indonesia, as his dedication in Coastal Community Economic Development through Seaweed Cultivation in Pamekasan. In addition, Government of Pamekasan also awarded him as Youth Pioneer for Economic Empowerment of Coastal Communities and Leader for Coastal Environmental Conservation. Adi Bakti Mina Bahari was also awarded by Ministry of Maritime and Fisheries Affairs for his role in educating seaweed farmer group, Mitra Bahari in Pamekasan. He is also selected as an expert for national salt self-sufficiency program in Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs. Currently, Dr. Makhfud is the chairman of Salt Science and Technology Park in Madura.
